New Thames Valley Women’s League side S4K Ladies got their season under way at the third attempt, beating early leaders Thatcham Flames 5-1 who had previously won both their fixtures, scoring 17 goals.
Nicky Edwards, Nat White, Sammy Sadler and two own goals did the damage while Alisha Bush replied for the visitors.
Also in Division 3 South, Newbury Dev and Barton Rovers Royals shared six goals between them in a 3-3 draw and Taplow United saw off Wargrave Reserves 4-0 and Westwood Wanderers drew 2-2 at Wantage Town Development.

In the East Division, Ascot United Ladies Reserves beat Slough Town 2-1, the Yellawomen goals coming from Courtney Gibbons and Simran Karia while the Rebels goal came through Samantha McKenzie.
In the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, Woodley United were beaten 2-1 at home by Newbury and Hannah Evans got Ascot United’s goal as they were beaten 3-1 at AFC Bournemouth CST.
