Reading City manager Simon Johnson has added to his striking options with the capture of Joseph Allen.
The clubs twitter account announced the move for the former Mildenhall Town and Thetford Town forward on Thursday night.
City have seen two players move on in the last few days as Matt Deadfield headed to Binfield and Ousman Darboe signed up for BetVictor Isthmian League side Bracknell Town.

On the departure of Darboe, who joined City from Wantage Town last season, Johnson tweeted: “Fantastic player you’ve got there. Glad we could be part of your pathway Ousman, looking forward to seeing you kick on.”

City have added some defensive strength in recent days with experienced former Thatcham Town full back Thomas Browne joining along with Berks County defender Steve Lee and AFC Aldermaston’s Josh Blackwood.
