Ascot United Ladies add experience to management team

Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division side Ascot United have been busy behind the scenes ahead of the new season.

The club have appointed the experienced Dave Ward as first team coach for the forthcoming 2018/19 season.

Ward – previously manager at Bracknell Town Ladies, will work alongside manager Darrel Evans who himself embarks on a ninth season in charge at the Racecourse Ground.

The Yellawomen were promoted to the Premier Division last season after finishing runners up in Division 1 and finished sixth of nine in the league table.

In addition to Evans and Ward, the Ascot United have appointed Stephen Jeffrey as a coach with the first and reserve team and confirmed that Peter Vince will remain as manager of the clubs reserve side.
