Binfield currently lie in a very creditable sixth position in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League. However, they can feel a little disappointed as they were top of the division on the 23rd September, less than one month ago.
The Moles started the season excellently well, they won seven of their first nine games. But since late September they’ve only drawn one match and lost the other six. There can be few clubs who have experienced such an erratic first few months to a league season.

Looking at the goals conceded column it’s clear that Binfield’s main attributes lie in defence. They have conceded the second least in the division (17) behind Bracknell Town’s (15).
‘Best defence in the Hellenic Premier’
However Roger Herridge’s men have played three more games than their Berkshire rivals. If you calculate the goals conceded per game then it’s Binfield who have the best defence in the Hellenic Premier.

As for goals, well it’s Liam Ferdinand who leads the goalscoring charts for Binfield with 14 goals, his nearest rival Matthew Jones is on 3. Ferdinand has netted 45% of all Binfield’s goals this season.
If Binfield are to challenge they probably need to find additional sources of goals!
