The iconic Quinton Stand at Larges Lane is no more as the redevelopment of Bracknell Town’s ground continues apace.
Larges Lane has hosted football for over half a century, and for two decades the stand at the Mount Pleasant end of the ground has watched over 1000s of fixtures at the club.
The corrugated metal structure came down last week – club officials have confirmed it will be replaced – so we thought we’d pull out some of our favourite images against the back drop of the locally famous stand.
Former club secretary Cliff McFadden posted on the FootballinBracknell facebook page: “End of an era! I built that with Mick O’Neill and Richard Whitty!”
