Wokingham & Emmbrook have announced the recapture of Nick Bateman from Hellenic Premier League side Binfield.
Bateman made three league appearances off the bench for the Moles this season after leaving Lowther Road following the Sumas relegation to Division 1 East last season.
McNelly said: “Nick hasn’t played competitive football for a couple of months, but I believe he’ll hit the ground running and goes into our squad for the trip to Wantage Town.”
Following an impressive win at home to Woodley United and draw at Bicester Town, the Sumas suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of league leaders on Saturday and Bateman returns to a side that will be confident of three points on Saturday at Wantage who have conceded 72 goals in 13 league games already this season.

McNelly said: “Nick has been involved and associated with this club from the age of 6, and it’s great to have him back at Lowther Road. I would like to thank both Roger Herridge and Rob Challis at Binfield for their help in making this possible”.
