Bracknell Town reached the Reading Senior Cup Final for the (we think) first time after a 2-0 win over Wokingham & Emmbrook at Scours Lane.
Both sides struggled to really control the game at the former home of Reading Town but a first half penalty from Seb Bowerman after Kensley Maloney was fouled and a second half header from Carl Withers sealed the Robins progress.
Wokingham though even after going down to 10 men never stopped hassling, tackling and working hard but in the end it was two set pieces that did for them.

The red card will be seen as harsh from a Wokingham point of view, it’s not hard to see why with the ball looking like it had gone but Giles was the last man when TJ Bohane tumbled on the edge of the box.
That free kick came to nothing but then the quick feet of Maloney undid the back line as he was tripped on the edge of the box and Bowerman doesn’t really miss from 12 yards.

Wokingham did apply the pressure on the second half but Chris Grace was largely untroubled and when Withers headed home from a free kick the game really was up.
So it’s on to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday evening for Mark Tallentire’s side who will play the winners of Wednesday nights second semi final between Binfield and Woodcote Stoke Row.
