Hungerford Town have moved to bolster their attacking options as the season comes to a conclusion. They have signed former Poole Town, Gosport Borough and Salisbury striker Rafa Ramos.
According to the Hungerford Town website Ramos is “really excited to get going with Hungerford” and could make his Crusaders debut against one of his former clubs on Saturday as Hungerford face Sholing.
The Portuguese born forward has played at Vanarama National League level and Hungerford will be hoping he can help spearhead an unlikely assault on the playoffs.
Hungerford currently lie in eighth position, eight points behind Dorchester Town and have ten games to make up the difference.
The Crusaders have been in good form but after winning six in a row and drawing with Poole Town in midweek, they were beaten 4-0 at Sholing on Saturday.
