Southern League Premier Division South play-off challengers Bracknell Town have announced two incoming signings – both already familiar to Bottom Meadow supporters.
Esprit quickly became a fan favourite after signing in the summer of 2022 from Bedfont Sports. He quickly adapted to Bracknell’s ‘juggernaut’ style under Bobby Wilkinson and was a key member of the sides run to the FA Cup First Round Proper against Ipswich Town.
He scored 22 goals last season as Bracknell narrowly missed out on promotion to the Vanarama National League South and began 2024/25 with the Robins before taking up an offer to rejoin Wilkinson at Hemel Hempstead Town.
Most recently with Walton & Hersham, Esprit will certainly add to the Robins forward arsenal.
At the back, defender Jack Matton has returned on loan from Wycombe Wanderers until the end of the season.
He was on loan with the Robins in October having signed for Football League side Wycombe in the summer – he had impressed last season at Binfield where he was on loan from Vanarama National League side Woking.
During his time with Binfield, Matton was selected and subsequently captained the England schoolboys side.
