Reading FC Women have announced the signing of Charlie Estcourt after her release from Birmingham City at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Estcourt will be no stranger to Reading fans having come through the Reading academy as a youth player, a Reading girl herself, before a brief spell at Chelsea and a switch back to Reading to mark her senior return in 2015.

She then signed for London Bees but moved on at the end of the season after the club were relegated into the National League, the third tier of English women’s football. She then joined the turbulent settings of Coventry United in the 2021/22 in which off-the-pitch politics shadowed much of the on-pitch performance but she made a steady succession of appearances whilst the club avoided near liquidation.
She left at the end of the season after impressing Birmingham in the summer transfer window and signed officially for them for 2022/23 before her release in July.
