Bracknell Town have made two eye-catching signings in the striker department ahead of the 2021/22 Isthmian League South Central Division One season with the addition of James Clark from rivals Marlow as well as Maidenhead United legend Dave Tarpey.

Clark reunites with Bracknell boss Bobby Wilkinson having previously played for him at Hungerford Town and Wealdstone.

The attacker played 22 times for Mark Bartley’s side over the last two curtailed seasons scoring 18 goals and will undoubtedly form a formidable Robins attack for the season ahead.

Welcoming Clark to Bracknell on Twitter, the club wrote: “The Gaffa is delighted to be reunited with Clarky. The frontman spent many great years working with The Gaffa at both Hungerford Town & Wealdstone. Everyone at BTFC would like to welcome Clarky to the club.”

Clark was a big part of the Hungerford side, under Wilkinson, that rose to the National League South having joined the Crusaders for a second spell in 2014/15 in the Southern League Premier Division and joined Wealdstone in 2018/19.

Tarpey is the other attacking signing, the Maidenhead legend and scorer of ‘that goal’ joins after two seasons in the National League with Woking.

Bracknell have also revealed the club are offering free season tickets to anyone that bought one in the last two season. More details on how to claim yours here.
