Bracknell Town’s squad is certainly blossoming and over the weekend Sam Lock added three more to Larges Lane including one familiar face.
The three new players are full backs Caden Genovesi, Dan Carr and midfielder Max Herbert who last played for the Robins in the 2017/18 Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division promotion winning side.
Genovesi started the Robins 5-1 win over Fleet Town on Saturday while both Carr and Herbert featured off the bench.
Carr’s previous clubs include Oxford United Academy and Welwyn Garden City who he played for last season in the Southern League while Herbert was with Badshot Lea and Genovesi has experience with QPR under 23s.
Bracknell manager Sam Lock gave Football in Berkshire the low down on all three new signings.
He said: “Dan [Carr] is an energetic full back who offers lots of energy and competition in the both wide areas. Dan played for Welwyn Garden City last season.
“Max is a technically gifted midfielder who has missed some of pre-season due to injury. He finished the season as players player of the year at Badshot Lea.
“Caden [Genovesi] is a fantastic young player who has all the attributes to have a very bright future in the game. Caden was QPR under 18 captain two seasons ago and last season was with the QPR under 23s. At the turn of the year he went on loan at Welling in the National League South where he made 16 appearances. I huge signing for the club!”
It was earlier confirmed by Marlow that defender Elliott Legg had left Larges Lane for the Robins Isthmian League rivals while former captain Carl Davies – who announced his departure earlier in the summer – joined Binfield.
