Bracknell Town manager Geoff Warner has added former Robins defender Justin Clayton to his squad for the Bostik League South Central Division One run-in.
Clayton was a valuable player for Bracknell last season in his 11 games as they reached the Quarter Finals of the Buildbase FA Vase as well as clinching the runners up spot in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.
Clayton – known within Football in Bracknell as the happiest man in local football having never been photographed by Neil Graham without a big smile on his face – has previously been on the books at Southend United and Maidenhead United as well as Binfield – he has also been signed for Bracknell on two previous occasions.
Bracknell manager Warner had said in this weeks Bracknell News that he was considering bringing in one or two new players.
Since then in an update to Football in Bracknell, Warner said: “We were looking at signing someone else but now Seb Bowerman and Kensley Maloney are on their way back we probably won’t go down that route.”
Bracknell are back in Bostik League action on Saturday when they host Tooting & Mitcham United. All the weekends fixtures are here.
