Woodley United have signed former Binfield midfielder James Suarez according to the FA’s full time website.
The midfielder joins the newly promoted Kestrels after four games of the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division season and is available for the weekends visit to former club Bracknell Town.
Suarez was registered with the Robins for the start of the season but didn’t feature in a matchday squad for Mark Tallentire’s side and ended last season with Division 1 East champions Penn & Tylers Green.
He played 12 times for Bracknell in 2015/16 scoring 3 goals and featured three times each for the Robins and Binfield last season, as well as four games for Penn scoring three times for the French School Meadows side.
Suarez was a long serving player at Binfield and more recently has been raising money for charity with a series of marathon runs including the London Marathon.
Woodley have started relatively positively in their first Hellenic Premier Division campaign, picking up two points in their opening two games with a brace of 0-0 draws but their last two fixtures ended in consecutive 3-0 defeats.
