10-man Ascot United took a valuable play-off point against rivals Uxbridge at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday in the Isthmian League South Central Division One.

The Yellas had Joe Gater sent off with nine minutes of normal time remaining but were able to give a debut to new signing Brandon Curtis – he joined Ascot from Hungerford Town on Friday.

Ascot are eight points clear in the race to secure a play-off spot this season but have played more games than the sides around them.

Binfield’s match was postponed as they looked to build on a 2-0 midweek win at Hartley Wintney. The Moles are 10 points clear of the relegation and are due to host Raynes Park Vale on Saturday.
