Loveman United and Winkfield, both of Division 1, caused shocks in the Advantage Printroom Senior Cup by beating Premier Division opposition.
Loveman trailed 0-3 at half time in their tie against FC Meta but second half goals from Ben Poynter, Alfie Sparrow and Alex Ford levelled things and took the game to penalties, that Loveman edged by 3-2.
Winkfeld, struggling to find any form this term in Division 1, edged out Morale Madrid by 5-4. Other winners were Athletico Forest (6-4 winnners against Panthers), Crowthorne Inn (4-2 against Athletico Ascot) and Finchampstead Athletic (2-1 winners against WAB).
The only other “winners” were AFC Crowthorne Reserves who were awarded their tie as opposition Golden Farmer Rangers were unable to field a team.
Through to the next round of the League Junior Cup are Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves, Bracknell Athletic Reserves, Winnersh Rangers, Sandhurst FFC and Crownwood Dukes of Division 4 who caused the biggest upset of the day beating holders Bearwood Wanderers, flying high at the top of Division 3, by 2-0.
In Division 1 Berks County moved into 2nd position with a 5-1 win against Crowthorne FC. The other game finished 2-1 to Finchampstead Atheltic Reserves against Bracknell Athletic. Finch move up two places into 5th.
Big movers in Division 2 were Moore Close Manor, soaring up into 3rd following their 3-2 win away to Ashridge Park. Bracknell Corinthians are off the mark with their first points of the season following their 3-1 win at Ashridge Park.
Braybrooke Athletic missed the chance to close the gap on Bearwood Wanderers at the top of Division 3 and were defeated 4-3 by Bracknell Saint Germain. With that win BSG moved themselves into contention for the title in 3rd place.
