FC Fernhill won through on the day in the all-Bracknell Second Round tie in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup beating Finchampstead Athletic 5-2. Joining Fernhill in the hat for the 3rd round draw are Panthers, who beat fellow-Bracknell League team Silver Birch Dynamoes 7-3, and Raglan (last season’s Junior Cup winners) beat Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW by 5-0. Missing out were Crowthorne Inn who were lost 1-3 at home to Real Milan.
In the four 1st round ties of the League Junior Cup, Bracknell Saint Germain (needing penalties to beat Running Horse after the game finished 2-2), Hope & Anchor, Woodley Saints and Winnersh Rangers.
Morale Madrid moved into 3rd in the Premier Division following their 1-0 win against Athletico Forest, Rob Ellis scoring the solitary goal of the game. The only other game played in the division resulted in a 4-1 win for Golden Farmer Rangers away to WAB, Ryan McManus getting the goal for WAB.
AFC Crowthorne Reserves stay top of Division 1 following their 5-0 victory over Finchampstead Athletic Reserves. Berks County beat Crowthorne FC 6-0 (James Lakeman putting in a Man of the Match performance) and move into 2nd on goal difference over Loveman United who maintained their 100% winning start to the season after beating Athletico Ascot 1-0, Ed Jackson-Sankey the scorer for Loveman. Both Winkfield and Woodley United got their season’s started with wins against Bracknell Athletic and Panthers Reserves respectively, Woodley netting 8 times (to Panthers 2), Harrison Wilks putting in a Man of the Match performance.
The days highest scoring game was played in Division 2 as Moore Close Manor beat Ashridge Park Royals 7-4. The top two positions remain as Sandhurst FFC and Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves without either team kiclking a ball as both their opponents (3M and Ashridge Park respectively) were unable to field teams.
Bearwood Wanderers stretched clear at the top of Division 3 in emphatic fashion beating 2nd placed Braybrooke Athletic 8-2 and in doing so maintained their own 1005 winning start to the season.
Crownwood Dukes remain top of Division 4 following their 2-1 win away at FC Harmanswater. Bracknell Athletic Reserves stay 2nd following a 7-3 win against Bracknell Titans.
