Big scores

NINE is this weeks magic number!

9-0 – Finchampstead Athletic Sunday beat Premier Division bottom side Braybrooke Athletic in the League Cup.

5-4 – Sandhurst FFC beat AFC Crowthorne by the odd goal in 9 in the First Division.

Clean sheets

A rarity in Sunday League so we celebrate the five from the weekend..

2-0 Morale Madrid kept a clean sheet at home to Golden Farmer Rangers.

Berkshire United kept a clean sheet and scored seven without reply against Division 2 basement boys Hope & Anchor.

There was also a clean sheet for Division 2 WAB who overcame Division 3 Bracknell Titans 4-0 in the league cup and Winnersh Rangers beat Newbold College 3-0.

The last clean sheet of Sunday saw Warfield United beat Ashridge Park under 21s 4-0.

Top of the league

Crowthorne Inn extended their lead at the top of Division 1 with a 6-1 win at home to Ashridge Park.

Bracknell Falcons stay top of Division 3 despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Woodley United Reserves – Bearwood Wanderers closed the gap to a point with a 6-2 win at Finchampstead Athletic Sunday ‘A’.

Shocks

Division 1 Whitegrove beat Premier Division Raglan FC 5-2 in the League Cup.

Early Premier Division pace-setters Bracknell Cavaliers were beaten 2-1 in the cup by Bracknell Celtic – a shock in terms of it being first place versus second bottom – but Celtic are yet to play a league game.
