#FiBCUP: Binfield finish off with a win and a clean sheet

Binfield Res/Dev did what they needed to do to push their bid for the inaugural FootballinBracknell pre season cup all the way to the wire.

The Moles needed a win and for Wokingham & Emmbrook to beat Bracknell Town with both games taking place on Saturday afternoon.

In the end though, the Moles and boss Ellis Woods – who organised the competition – occupy the runners-up spot after doing their bit with a 3-0 win over Ascot United, but Bracknell Town defeated Wokingham & Emmbrook while there is one more game remaining in the tournament between Wokingham and Ascot United.

Binfield’s push for top spot was given a boost when Connor Reeves, Peter Shay and Clive Akem-Che all got themselves on the scoresheet without reply from the visitors at Hill Farm Lane.
