Bracknell Town manager Mark Tallentire has said the club have ‘unearthed a little diamond’ after Ben Poynter’s goalscoring heroics in the 1-1 draw with Thatcham Town on Tuesday evening.
The Robins boss was quoted in the Bracknell News saying: “He has done exceptionally well.
“He is very composed, technically good and and I think we could have unearthed a little diamond.”

Poynter also scored in the 3-0 win over Royal Wootton Bassett Town on Thursday taking his tally to six in seven first team games and scored during the penalty shoot-out for Whitegrove in the Berks & Bucks County Cup Final on Sunday morning.
