The FA has announced the entrants and the exemptions for the 2025/26 FA Cup, FA Trophy and FA Vase competitions. Football in Berkshire takes a look at which teams will compete and where they will start.

The FA Cup has the largest Berkshire participation within it, and will give debuts to Eversley & California and Windsor & Eton this season. The competition again won’t feature sides from Step 6 and below.

In the FA Trophy, the chance for Morecambe and Carlisle United away days exists after the duo were relegated from the Football League. The Enterprise National League (Step 1) sides will be exempt until the Third Round Proper.

Thatcham Town return to the FA Vase for the first time in seven seasons following Step 4 relegation. The Kingfisher’s won the competition in 2018, the last time they competed. The list of entered teams meanwhile is as you would expect but for Windsor FC who are not listed – the two other relegated but reprieved Step 6 sides (FC Deportivo Galicia and Rising Ballers Kensington) have been included.
