Georgia Luckhurst-McCord is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Best Content Creator sponsored by Lens Digital.
Luckhurst-McCord has played 16 times for the title-winning Yellas this season scoring four times, but it is her off-the-pitch efforts that have captured the imagination and nomination for this award.
“The nomination we received for the award said: “Georgia has been managing Ascot Ladies Instagram for a few seasons now and has grown the followers massively. She puts countless time into creating all content to grow not only Ascot Ladies platform but also the women’s football platform.
“She does all of this alongside her full time job, as well as being an integral player in the women’s first team. Her nickname is “Lucky”, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our setup. Lucky’s content and social media activity has led to us signing numerous players from higher leagues and makes us an attractive club to join.”
