Reading FC and MK Dons will test themselves against Berkshire’s non-league finest this week (weather permitting) as the Quarter Finals of the Berks & Bucks County FA Men’s Senior Cup finally get played.
Bracknell Town play host to holders Reading on Wednesday (12th February) night at Bottom Meadow with the Robins looking to bounce back from a 2-0 league defeat on Saturday.
It will be Reading’s first match of this season’s competition – the County FA’s three professional sides enter in the last eight – and they make an immediate return to the ground where they lifted the trophy for the second time in three seasons.
A previous meeting between the two sides in the competition in 2018 was a tight affair played out in front of 1,173 spectators at the clubs then home Larges Lane. Hopefully the Royals will manage to avoid a kit clash with the referee this time around.

As with then, it is expected to be an under-21 side, albeit some of the best young footballing talent in the County.
Tickets for the fixture can be purchased here with adults priced at £5 with kids and concessions at £3.
Hungerford Town vs MK Dons (Tuesday 11th)
On Tuesday night EFL League Two MK Dons travel arguably the furthest distance the competition has to offer when they head from North Buckinghamshire to West Berkshire to face Hungerford Town at Bulpit Lane.
Hungerford’s current league form in the Southern League Premier Division South see’s the Crusaders with an outside chance of making the play-offs following four straight wins and it’ll be a side full of confidence and ex-Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe that takes on a youthful MK.
Tickets for the game are available on the gate only priced £10 for adults, concessions at £5.
Binfield vs Flackwell Heath (Tuesday 11th)
The third and final Quarter Final (Wycombe Wanderers are already out after losing 4-3 to Beaconsfield Town) see’s the Moles vs the Heathens, a bit more of a traditional County Cup fixture but with both sides now at Step 4.
The match is subject to an early pitch inspection at Hill Farm Lane on Tuesday.
