That’s a wrap on 2022. Officially. The Berkshire Football Awards is over for another year and what an evening it was.
It was great to see so many people come and help us sell out Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading and contribute to a brilliant evening.
Tom White – our host – was on top form as ever and we got to present 16 fantastic awards as well as medals to all those short-listed.
I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed themselves on the night, we’ll be doing it again in 2023 for absolute certain. You can now watch the whole thing below or scroll down for all the winners.

The Darrell Freeland Award for Service to the Local Game
Bob Bacon
Bob retired this year after over a decade of service in grassroots football as Binfield FC chairman. Bob has steadily lead the Moles to build bit by bit – supported and helped to run the Soccer School which also picked up an award tonight, and the club is at a point where they’ve played at Wembley and are now at the highest level the club has ever been in the Isthmian League.
Behind the scenes Bob has lead a dedicated team of volunteers and seen facilities at the club improve year on year. Since retiring, Bob has agreed to become the Chairman of Football in Berkshire and will continue to keep us on the straight and narrow, promoting local football.
