Larges Lane hosts Bracknell Sunday League charity GOALS cup final on Friday night

Match is in memory of former secretary Dave Scovell

Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane will host the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League David Scovell Goals Cup Final on Friday night at Larges Lane (ko 7.45pm).

The annual match between the Sunday Leagues two top scoring teams is the traditional curtain raiser to the season which kicks off in September who last season were Berkshire All Stars and Binfield Royals.

The two sides finished first and second in the Second Division last season scoring 204 goals between them in the league campaign.

The match is named in honour of David Scovell who was secretary of the league for 30 years and was widely known amongst the Bracknell football community and was a dedicated supporter of grassroots football. He sadly passed away in July 2016.

Please get down to Larges Lane and support this fixture if you can, our snapper Neil Graham will be on hand to catch the match action so please go and say hello!
