Allied Counties Premier Division title race goes to the wire

Second placed Sandhurst Town host Maidenhead United Youth tomorrow night as the Allied Counties Youth League Premier Division title race goes down to the wire.

Maidenhead sit top on 44 points with tomorrow being their final match.

Sandhurst are on 39 points but have two games remaining. The young Fizzers must win or the Magpies will be crowned champions once again and complete the double following victory in this season’s ACYL Cup.

If Sandhurst can win, they will move onto 42 points and have the knowledge that victory over ninth placed – and already relegated – North Greenford United would give them the title.

Whatever happens, it’s been a great first season in the Premier Division for the young Fizzers who won the South Division last term.

Please note that the match is to be played at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground with a 7.45pm kick-off on Wednesday evening.
