It’s a busy weekend of football but we have to start with the Buildbase FA Vase Fifth Round (last 16) and the fact that we have two teams – Bracknell Town and Windsor – alongside fellow Uhlsport Hellenic League and neighbouring West Berks side Thatcham Town in the last sixteen who were all on BBC Radio Berkshire on Friday mornng.

Bracknell travel to the Midlands to face Total Motion Midland Football League leaders Coleshill Town (FA Vase semi-finalists last year) in a match dubbed ‘El Plastico’ with both teams having 3G pitches.

It’s ninth vs ninth place as Windsor host Sydenhams Wessex League side Hamble while Thatcham Town welcome Bromsgrove Sporting to Waterside Park.

In the Hellenic League Binfield travel to Highmoor Ibis looking to continue their good run and they welcome Zidan Akers into the squad on a dual registration. Akers was formerly of Reading and spent time on loan at Hearts of Midlothian. You can read a bit more about him in the Edinburgh Evening News here.

Ascot United travel to face Oxford City Nomads looking to increase the gap on the five teams below them in the table.

In Division One East, AFC Aldermaston travel to Milton United while both Sandhurst Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook are at home, hosting Thame Rangers and Chalfont Wasps respectively.

There’s Monday night Hellenic action to where a good crowd will be expected at Binfield v Windsor whilst Woodley United also host Wantage Town.

As ever, please check with the host club before you travel. Links on the home teams indicate we have an away day guide available to help plan your trip.
