FC Fernhill vs West Farnborough: Aldershot Invitational Sunday Senior Cup Final

This Sunday sees FC Fernhill play in the Aldershot Invitational Sunday Senior Cup Final when they face West Farnborough at Aldershot’s EBB Stadium in a 2.30pm kick-off.

It’s been a good season for Fernhill who secured a fourth successive Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Premier Division trophy and they were unbeaten in the league drawing only four matches and winning all the rest.

West Farnborough have been crowned Aldershot & District Sunday Football League Division One Champions four times in the last five years so certainly have the same pedigree and winning mentality that Fernhill possess.

One to watch

Charlie Evanson (FC Fernhill) – A goal machine for FC Fernhill finishing leading scorer for them with sixteen league goals and he has scored six in this competition too. A real handful for defences with his tireless running and work rate.

Prediction

Of course we are biased but we have to go with the Bracknell side. Both teams have scored plenty of goals this season but we reckon Fernhill will prevail 2-1 and bring the cup back to Berkshire.
