Southern League Premier Division South Bracknell Town are once again under the stewardship of Kayne Steinborn-Busse and the SB Group.
The news comes following a statement by outgoing chairman Andy Hunt after less than a season in charge at Bottom Meadow. According to the statement, the management team, including First Team boss Jon Underwood will also depart.
The statement released by the club says: Andy Hunt will step down as Chairman and CEO with immediate effect.
Since taking over the club in August 2024 we have faced a number of challenges on and off the field which has had an impact on myself and my business. I have given absolutely everything to try to make this be successful along with the help of others on the Board and the management.
Following on from the initial agreement made in August, we have been working on the long term take over agreement but we have been unable to find a solution that both parties can fully be satisfied with. As a result,
Kayne SB [Steinborn-Busse] and The SB Group will take back full control of Bracknell Town FC.
Along with this will see the current Board step down as well as the full management team.
I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of Bracknell Town FC this season. You have supported me and the team so well and I am truly thankful for that.
Yours in Football
Andy Hunt
