Ascot United Ladies Reserves were presented with their trophy at the Racecourse during half-time of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup semi-final between Ascot United and Wycombe Wanderers.

The reserves side had an emphatic league run in Division Three East of the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League this season which saw them clinch the title against their division rivals Ruislip Rangers at the beginning of March.

The Yellawomen have played with ambition and vigour all season and that is without a doubt reflected in their phenomenal form having played fifteen games and been unbeaten in every one of them and they’ve got the stats to match. The side racked up an eye-watering 103 goals between them and conceded just ten in the process with goalkeeper Cara O’Brien, whose been at the club since aged ten, securing nine clean sheets.

There was a cat and mouse race for the golden boot in the squad with Freya Johnson and Clodagh Farrell battling it out the top spot but Farrell eventually claimed it with 27 to her name, whilst Johnson scored 26.

Congratulations to Ascot United Ladies Reserves and whilst their league season may be complete they are still in cup action. Next up they face Division 1 winners Badshot Lea Ladies in TVCWFL League Cup final on the 3rd of April.
