Louis Bouwers, captain of Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division side Ascot United celebrated a ton of appearances for the club in the last week.
Bouwers made his debut in November 2016 against Thatcham Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division, making twelve appearances that season and clocked up a hundred appearances in the 2-0 win at Knaphill.
A post from the club on the Yellamen website said: “He’s so committed to his team, he even turned out with two black eyes and a head bandage despite having his face glued together in the early hours of the previous Wednesday morning, following a nasty clash of heads at Fleet Town. And, earlier on Saturday he was unselfishly out and about supporting some of Ascot’s younger players during the morning’s junior matches.”
The Yellamen captain has been in fine form this season as United top the division having already made 10 appearances and scored three goals.
