Bolton Wanderers youngster presents shirt to Binfield FC

A young Bolton Wanderers forward has presented his former club with a signed shirt according to the company that framed it.

Keeleys Framing let us know on twitter that 20 year old Connor Hall had provided Binfield with a signed shirt for the Hill Farm Lane club house.

According to Binfield chairman Bob Bacon, Hall was part of the Moles Soccer School at under 11s and played for the clubs under 16 side during the 2013/14 season.

According to transfermarkt.co.uk Hall was also at Ascot United as a youth but played through the age groups at Sheffield United with loans at Sheffield FC, Mickleover and Woking before joining Wanderers in July 2017.

Hall has yet to make his EFL Championship debut but did play in the FA Cup last season against Huddersfield Town having impressed with over 20 goals for the North West sides under 23 team. He is listed on the Bolton website for the forthcoming season under the first team.

The striker was awarded a two year contract at the Macron Stadium in June and said to the Bolton News: “I had a good season in 2017/18, so it’s fantastic to have been rewarded for my efforts and I can’t wait to kick on for Bolton Wanderers this term.”

Proving his excellent timing, Hall played in and scored Wanderers only goal in their 3-1 defeat to Guiseley on Tuesday night.
