Friday is deadline day for Bracknell Town and Larges Lane

Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground will be inspected on Friday morning and a positive decision would allow Tuesday nights eagerly anticipated derby between the Robins and Binfield to go ahead.

It is now a race against time for the club to have everything ready for the 11.30am inspection that would allow Bracknell’s first team to return to their home ground for the first time since the end of the 2015/16 season.

The seats for the as yet un-named main stand are arriving on Thursday morning while the goals, dugouts and pitch surround are already in position.

Should the ground pass inspection it would mean Bracknell will expect a big crowd on Tuesday night for the visit of Binfield in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League – a vital match in the Robins push for promotion and the league title.
