For many football supporters, the lure of the non league game is increased significantly because dogs are made welcome up and down the country.
There’s even a twitter account documenting mans best friend at grassroots games, it’s @nonleaguedogs and the hashtag #nonleaguedogs. Even for a ‘cat person’, I have to admit they are quite marvellous.
Football in Bracknell has been asked a few times about clubs that are dog friendly in Berkshire, so I emailed all the clubs from step six upward about their policy.
The majority were welcoming of dogs at grounds but some are tied by landlord regulation. Here’s a full list of clubs that responded. If your club is missing please email editor@footballinbracknell.co.uk and we’ll update!
If you want to find a game, we post weekend and midweek fixture lists here.
