Ethics, Standards and Corrections

Our Mission

Football in Berkshire (previously known as Football in Bracknell) is an independent blog that intends to promote the vibrant non-league, women’s and grassroots game across the county.

The website is edited by Tom Canning and utilises a host of volunteer writers, photographers and contributors.

Standards

Football in Berkshire reports on the community of grassroots football within the county. The site highlights the great and the good of the game, speaking to players, managers and volunteers as well as reporting live from matches.

FiB provides accurate and trustworthy content to drive more people toward the local game. We aim to make a difference and highlight all the great efforts going on behind the scenes.

As well as the written word, FiB fully credits all photographers and only uses images where permission has been given.

Ethics

The team behind FiB are passionate about the game across it’s many levels, from professional sides in the National League and FA WSL to ‘pub football’ in the Sunday League’s. We have a wealth of experience on and off the pitch, from involvement as directors and board members at clubs to simply watching the game at a local level over many years.

FiB always gives the right of reply where appropriate.

Corrections and complaints

If you spot something on the website that is incorrect or want to complain about something on the website, please email editor@footballinbracknell.co.uk with details of your complaint along with a link to the story or item.

We take seriously any complaint and aim to correct any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

We will contact you with details of the action we have taken to resolve the matter within seven days.
