Football in Berkshire’s Panel of supporters have answered the call and provided some reviews of their teams season so far.
Before, we also asked them about their predictions for 2026 and those will appear later this week. Agree or disagree? Let us know about your team in the comments, or join the Panel yourself here.
Windsor & Eton
Windsor & Eton have had a good start to the season even with some significant changes in the managerial department. Paul Smithson
Reading YMCA
Mixed bag to be honest. So good performances that didn’t get there rewards, but the biggest thing is giving away poor goals. A change of management as well and the big issues with the damage to the pitch as meant a tough end to the year for all of us. Stuart Cripps
Bracknell Town
A bizarre mix of being absolutely dreadful and relegation contenders to playoff hopefuls with three managers before Christmas. Steve Gabb
Reading FC Women
A mixed bag! The SRWFL still doesn’t have enough teams to get a consistent run of matches so there’s been some big gaps in the calendar. Yet, the cup games seem to have been never-ending. There’s still plenty to play for in the league however, we need a good run of high-scoring games if we want to push up the table and get our names in the hat in the promotion race. Abi Ticehurst
Maidenhead United
Up and down. Initially unsettled as it was a new team. Then 6 wins in a row, followed by 1 point in 7, change of manager and now currently 13/15 points from last 5 games. Steve Jinman
Maidenhead United – a roller-coaster. Pre-season optimism, no win in the first four games, six wins in a row, no win in eight, four wins in a row, derby defeat to ten man Slough at home. Neil Maskell
