The FA Leagues Committee will now decide between PPG promotion/relegation or complete Null and Void of the 2019/20 season.
A further statement posted by the Essex Senior League revealed that following an online conference on Tuesday, the FA confirmed the season would end for the two steps immediately.
There is however a decision to be made as to what that means for league tables with a straight choice between Points Per Game (PPG) including promotion and relegation, and declaring the season null and void.
The league statement added that decision would be taken by the FA’s Leagues Committee.
The added headache facing the Football Association is the proposed re-organisation of the pyramid at step 5 this summer.
