Last seasons Hellenic Premier League runners-up Thatcham Town have been busy putting together a squad to try and go one better during the 2016/17 season.
The big news for the Waterside Park club is that forwards Shane Cooper-Clark, Josh Helmore, Josh Baines and Jon Bennett will all remain with the blues.
According to the FA full-time website, the club have re-registered Shane Cooper-Clark, Jon Bennett, Tom Browne, Jordan Seward, Josh Baines, Marjk Hughes, Callum Willmoth, Danny Lachasz, Gareth Rackley, Josh Helmore, Gareth Thomas, Yashwa Romeo, Jamie Deller and Tom Melledew.
New faces
Amongst several new faces – including the coach Keith Pennicott-Bowen who was confirmed several weeks ago, are Josh Howell and Jemel Johnson from Binfield, Alex Rodrigues from Ascot United, Harvey Scholes from Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Ashleigh James from Flackwell Heath.
Howell scored 12 goals in 43 games for the Moles last season while Johnson netted 15 in 29 games and was influential in the clubs Reading Senior Cup Final defeat to Henley Town.
Rodrigues joins the apparent exodus from Ascot after playing 47 times last season for the Yellamen. He joins Chris Grace, Lee Boon, Joe Grant and Dave Hancock in heading out of the Racecourse Ground.
One player on the move though is forward Ian Davies, who has joined Bracknell Town. Thatcham wll meet the Robins in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup on Saturday 6th August.
