It’s already been an incredibly busy day in the world of Hellenic League Football with Mark Tallentire leaving Bracknell Town and the draw for the First Round Proper of the FA Vase taking place.
There’s also the small matter of some Monday night football with games for both Binfield and Woodley United to take in.
Roger Herridge’s side have a quick opportunity to bounce back from a disappointing end to their FA Vase campaign on Saturday when they host Wantage Town at Hill Farm Lane while Woodley United have the not insignificant task of hosting Flackwell Heath at Scours Lane.
The Moles had been in relatively good form with three wins in a row before a heavy 5-0 defeat to Flackwell Heath in the County Cup was followed up by a surprise defeat to Fareham Town in the Vase.
Herridge has another new signing joining Ryan Millward and Henry Craven, though we understand for one game only in defender Guy Hollis who has joined from Evo Stik Southern League Premier side Slough Town.
Woodley United welcome Flackwell Heath to West Reading looking to repeat their opening day heroics that earned them a point in their first ever Premier Division game.
Since a 1-1 draw with Burnham the Kestrels have lost twice to Oxford City Nomads in the League and Vase but will have a tough task this evening against the Heathens who have scored 15 goals in their last four games.
