Bracknell Town face Headington Amateur’s in the Bluefin Sports Hellenic League Challenge Cup semi-final on Thursday night at Larges Lane with Highworth Town awaiting the winners in the final (ko 7.45pm).
The Robins host Division 1 East Amateur’s after the match was switched from Oxfordshire to ensure a later kick off under the lights, and means Bracknell are within 90 minutes of a shot at a second piece of silverware of the season after lifting the Berks & Bucks County Senior Trophy last week.
As far as we are aware the two sides have only met twice previously in the 2012/13 season when both were Division 1 East sides.
Bracknell Town were pipped to second spot by Headington but beat the Oxfordshire side 3-0 through a Shane Cooper-Clark hat-trick, but drew the crucial final game of the season 0-0 at Larges Lane.

You’ll be well aware by now that Bracknell finished runners up in the Hellenic Premier this season while Headington finished strongly in Division 1 East maintaining a record of six top four finishes in the last eight seasons.
Please note: The Wokingham & Emmbrook vs Bracknell Town Reading Senior Cup semi final on Saturday 29th April has been postponed with a new date yet to be confirmed.
