Bracknell Town went back to the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division with a crucial 2-1 win at Highworth Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Robins were under the cosh for much of the game, particularly in the second half but TJ Bohane gave Bracknell an early lead before Aysa Corrick equalised shortly after.
Adam Cornell then made it 2-1 with Bracknell going in to the half time break ahead.
Mark Tallentire will be pleased with the way his side managed to hold out with the three points the most important thing and only seven games of the Premier Division season left.
Bracknell’s title rivals in the two horse race Thame United were without a game meaning both sides have now played an equal number of fixtures with the Robins top of the table by a point.
