The FA have confirmed that Bracknell Town’s opponents in the Second Round of the FA Vase – Cray Valley – have been ejected from the competition after fielding an ineligible player in their 3-1 first round win over Cricklewood Wanderers.

A report in the Kilburn Times reads: “Cray Valley has been disqualified from the Vase and the Wanderers were informed of its reinstatement to the competition this afternoon following a Football Association Sub-Committee meeting.”

As a result – Bracknell will now host Middlesex County League Premier Division side Cricklewood on Saturday 11th November at Larges Lane.

Bracknell will go in as favourites by virtue of playing two levels hire than Cricklewood. The Middlesex County League is a step 7 league – the same level as the Thames Valley Premier League.

The Robins are joined in the Second Round by Windsor who make the trip to Erith Town.
