We understand Binfield’s Reading Senior Cup semi-final against Woodcote Stoke Row was abandoned on Wednesday evening on 54 minutes after six players from both sides were sent off.
Thames Valley Premier League side Woodcote led their Hellenic Premier Division opponents 1-0 at the time of the abandonment.
Bracknell News sports reporter Dave Wright tweeted: “Reading Senior Cup: Binfield FC 0 Woodcote Stoke Row 1 after 54 mins. WSR have 2 sent off followed by a fight. Game abandoned 58 mins

We’ll have more as and when details become available but at the moment we don’t know if the match will be replayed.
Update: Woodcote have tweeted that both sides had three men sent off in the game.

Further update: Both Dave and Binfield have tweeted that it was four Woodcote and two Binfield players that were shown red cards.
It appears SIX red cards were shown (4 Woodcote Stoke Row 2 Binfield ) as Reading Senior Cup tie was abandoned after 63 mins WSR 1-0 up

Please refrain from speculating or commenting on the match on social media especially if you were a player in the match. As Binfield have tweeted, the incident will be dealt with by the correct authorities.
The match was the first of the 2016/17 semi-finals with the prize of a final at Reading’s Madejski Stadium against either Wokingham & Emmbrook or Bracknell Town.
