Bracknell Town’s eagerly awaited Hellenic Premier Division trip to Ardley United on Tuesday is off according to a tweet from the club.

The Robins have already travelled to the Oxfordshire village twice this season with one match postponed on arrival, while the other went ahead much to the surprise of almost everyone.

Talking to the Bracknell News last week about the Floodlit Cup tie which Bracknell lost 3-1, Tallentire said: “The Ardley pitch was frozen and the game should not have even gone ahead.

“My lads did not get changed until five past seven as they thought it would be called off by the ref. We were all surprised when he said the game was on.”

Three games have so far survived the weather on Tuesday night:

  • Brimscombe & Thrupp vs Longlevens AFC
  • Highmoor-Ibis vs Woodcote & Stoke Row (Cup)
  • Oxford City vs Thame United (Cup)

Bracknell’s next match see’s them head in to the unknown when they visit Reading side Westwood United in the Reading Senior Cup. The full draw is here.
