Bracknell Town Football Club are planning to coach the coaches according to a report in the Bracknell News.

MP Dr Philip Lee visited the Larges Lane site recently and was impressed with the clubs vision, which includes the laying of a state of the art all weather pitch at the clubs ground.

As well as the men’s first team matches, the ground will host junior club training sessions as well as all the clubs senior teams including both ladies sides.

The club are also setting up an educational programme with a local college to offer opportunities to players – as well as courses to encourage a new generation of football coach.

Dr Lee said in the Bracknell News: “I am full of admiration for what Bracknell Town have done and what they are trying to achieve.

“What they have recognised is that they can have a much bigger impact on the future of football if they focus on developing people who can, themselves, help to coach generations of players’.
