It’s back to league action this weekend for Bracknell Town after their thumping 7-1 win over neighbours Wokingham & Emmbrook on Thursday night.
Longlevens AFC are making their first visit to Larges Lane after a strong first season in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

Can anyone touch in form Adam Cornell?
In Adam Cornell, Bracknell Town have a striker who has scored 14 goals in his last 10 games and rocketed past the departed Shane Cooper-Clark’s total of 17 in the race for the Roger Edwards Golden Boot.
Bracknell though boast a quartet of attacking options who are adding also providing goals for the side.
Youngster Ben Poynter has four goals in four first team appearances, Seb Bowerman has hit 6 – but is an injury doubt – captain Carl Davies is no slouch in front of goal and Johnnie Dyer is back available after suspension.
Long trip = home win
The stats don’t lie. Bracknell have played teams from Gloucestershire at home four times this season and are unbeaten, registering two wins and two draws.
On the road, Bracknell have been to Gloucestershire SIX times and have a record of one win, two draws and three defeats.
Add that Bracknell need one point to guarantee survival in the Hellenic Premier to Longlevens real lack of anything to play for and we know where our money is going.

Tallentire has mastered the dark art of squad rotation
You can laugh all you like at Bracknell’s impressive roster of players on the FA full-time website. Hint – it’s 113 – BUT manager Mark Tallentire appears to have mastered the art of rotating his squad with the demands of an intense step 5 run-in.
The run of one defeat in 13 games proves the Bracknell boss has a depth of quality that has allowed him to suffer injuries and suspensions to the aforementioned Dyer, Bowerman, James Walters, Kensley Maloney and Lee Rushe. Not to mention the imminent suspension of captain Davies.
