Left-back John Gray scored his first goal for Bracknell Town in some style on Saturday as the Robins swaggered to a 3-0 win at home to Lydney Town.

Gray has played 25 times for Bracknell this season, but his 20 yard right footed strike was his first since moving to Larges Lane at the end of the 2015/16 season.

The victory – which also saw goals for Seb Bowerman and TJ Bohane was enough to send Mark Tallentire’s side top of the Hellenic Premier Division by four points.

Gray made four appearances for Bracknell in 2015/16 as the Robins escaped the drop into Division 1 East.
