Following the publication of the 2017/18 Uhlsport Hellenic Football League opening months fixtures, there are some absolute belting local derbies for supporters to get their teeth in to.
The big game on the opening day – Tuesday 1st August – will undoubtedly be the visit of Ascot United to Larges Lane to face Bracknell Town.
As last season, we know very little about what is going on at Ascot but Bracknell have certainly been busy in the transfer market while holding on to the majority of the squad that finished runners up in the Premier Division last season.
The Robins have of course lost TJ Bohane but have bolstered the squad with the addition of Liam Ferdinand from Binfield and Joe Gater from Basingstoke Town.

There are tough starts to the campaign though for Woodley United in their debut season and Binfield who travel to relegated Southern League side Wantage Town.
The Moles look set to have a youthful squad going in to the season but for Woodley, they are in at the deep end against last season’s third placed finishers Flackwell Heath.
Just under a fortnight later on Saturday 12th August, Division 1 East gets underway and the big derby will be AFC Aldermaston at home to Wokingham & Emmbrook who are away for their opening August fixtures due to cricket at Lowther Road.
Virginia Water make their bow at home to Chalfont Wasps while Sandhurst Town start the season at Didcot Town Reserves.
